The perfect retreat for a stay with friends or family. The cottage has been refurbished to provide a comfortable and stylish space to relax in beautiful surroundings. Whether you want an adventure-packed holiday or just to sit and read a book with beautiful views over Loch Awe, the cottage offers something for everyone. There are 2 further lodges on Rockhill Farm so if looking for a larger group, we can accommodate up to 18 guests. We also have an EV car charger available for use!
The cottage accommodates 2 bedrooms; the master suite, equipped with a double bed, features an en-suite bathroom and showcases views of the loch. The second bedroom also offers a double bed complemented by serene loch vistas. At the heart of the cottage is a spacious open-plan area, combining a well-equipped kitchen, dining setting, and a lounge that leads to the full span balcony. From here, guests can indulge in panoramic views of the loch and surrounding mountains, whether enjoying a barbecue, dining outside or enjoying the hot tub. A newly installed sauna adds a touch of luxury for guests to unwind in.
During their stay, guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage. Should there be a need, rentals of high chairs or a travel cot are available, though a 48-hour notice is appreciated.
Book Blar Cottage
”My family (2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 & 13) and I stayed at Blar Cottage over the Easter weekend and had a fantastic time. We were really lucky with the weather so we swam and kayaked in the Loch, cycled to Ford and warmed up afterwards in the hot tub and sauna. We used the BBQ for lunch and played board games and watched TV in the evenings. There were other visitors in the property next door but it still felt really private and peaceful. All in all a lovely location and property.
